BEST ROI Service Levels
Service Level 1
A level of service selected by small doctor's offices, clinics, and community based hospitals. BEST provides the supplies and labor to process all requests for information. The health care provider opens mail, approves authorizations, and pulls charts. Service is schedule on one to three days per week depending on demand for release of information.
Service Level 2
Large doctor's offices, multi discipline clinics, and regional hospitals usually select this level of service. The health care provider maintains control over most of the administrative functions of Release of information by opening mail, looking up medical record numbers and refiling charts. BEST pulls charts, copies records, and processes copies for mailing from the facility. Service is provided one to three days per week, with hours of service to meet the health care provider's needs.
Service Level 3
The ultimate in release of information service; All functions of Release of Information are performed by BEST. Large doctor's offices, regional or metropolitan hospitals qualify for this level of service. BEST does everything...opens and logs incoming mail, looks up medical record numbers, pulls charts, copies records, and mails the requested information from the facility. Staffing requirements for this level of service is from 1 to 15 employees. BEST staff can work normal business hours, second, or third shifts as needed. The health care provider's only concern is the quality of documentation contained in the patient's medical record
